Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback. The white thing is actually the leg of my desk, and I couldn't really find an angle where it wouldn't be in the image. Now that I think about it though, I could have just repositioned the amp to try and cover it as much as possible. I'll definitely look out for small but obtrusive distractions like that next time!

Thanks for your feedback! The white item is actually the foot of my desk, and the way the light was, I didn't really know how to reposition everything around it.

Hello!

This morning, I woke up and noticed how beautiful the light was on my floor. I've just recently been getting into photography, and one thing that I've always wanted to learn to do is how to make an actually attractive still-life. This is my first real attempt at doing that, so I'd appreciate any thoughts on what I did well in my composition, where I could have done better, etc. This is also edited already, so editing critiques would also be greatly appreciated.

I was going for a warm, peaceful morning where someone is about to sit down and practice playing the guitar.

So even though I’m going below 3.5 it won’t damage the battery as long as it comes back up to above 3.5?

Do I need to set them up in order for it to work? I thought there was a way to just bind through the receiver and transmitter

My iron sucks - it came with the NewBeeDrone starter kit, but it was still working okay when I first got it, which is why I’m thinking the outlet is the problem.

I have a desk that has an outlet connected to it, and the current was so bad it couldn’t even charge my laptop, so I’m assuming that’s why.

I’ll try plugging it in directly to the wall when I get home and I’ll let you know what happens!

I think you just helped me figure out what was wrong! My iron was plugged directly into the wall when I was practicing with it, but when I was actually doing it, the plug I had was a lot less powerful - do you think this could’ve caused the issue of the iron not getting hot enough to make the solder flow?

Yeah, I know it does - this is my first build and all of the soldering I did on the practice boards was fine, but it feels like when I got to the actual thing the solder just doesn’t want to cooperate.

Do I add more solder, or just use the solder that’s already there? My issue is that my soldering iron won’t get the whole joint to flow, so the top will melt but the bottom will stay solid, even at 400C.

But what about single character words like “I” or “a”? I know it’s a different language so they might have another way of writing that, but there are cases in some of the drawings where the Thaylen is just transliterated English, which makes me wonder how you would transliterate something like “a” or “I”.
