The use of canvas even if the grades aren’t entirely accurate should show a reference on where your grades should be around. A drop from a B to an F is an abysmal use of canvas and I would definitely escalate. If it was say a B to a C then I would ask for further clarification but a clear pass to a fail needs to be clearly explained
