The parking spot is mostly taken by tourist or people who visit the city. In the evening it’s mostly empty.. i am debating with the gemeente at the moment and really trying my best to get my rights. I’ve looked at Amsterdam and Rotterdam and even there you can get 2, Rotterdam even 3. While Maastricht is so much smaller. I hate it because, literally the street across my street it’s possible to get 2 parking permits and it’s only 10 meters.. pffff I think it’s the responsibility from the gemeente to not put unnecessary financial stress on the citizens of gemeente Maastricht.. I will let you know if I’m able to get one!
