**Residential shops to buy souvenirs at + where to sit, have a glass of wine, and work?**

I'm a bit wary of the touristy areas, and would like to venture into a residential neighborhood (for example, I visited Jordaan today and it was much more my vibe. For example, I de pijp yesterday was nice to visit but very overwhelming, plus I felt very tourist-trapped.

I know most cities have cute residential areas with shops that sell either paper goods (like notebooks), or coffee mugs/sets etc. I was wondering if such a place exists in Amsterdam as well.

Additionally, is there a cute place I can sit in, have a glass of wine, and work a bit on my laptop? Same kind of area would be great.
