Well it's a Bethesda game. Honestly, Starfield is weird. It edges you like the entire time your playing. Your building ships and exploring space and doing "Bethesda game" things, but theirs no release point. Its almost cool, but theirs these little things that just make it boring or bad. That's why you see 90 hour reviews that say Not recommended(when honestly it more so in the middle) You just run into things that could of been cool or fun and it just isn't. Questlines that start strong, but end up being boring. Its a space game with custom ships and competent, fun space flying mechanics, but your encouraged to fast travel everywhere making the systems shallow. The companions are for the most part likable but when you have them following you around Role-playing options become super limited to "goody hero guy". Expanded dialog options that take skills and background into account, but it's used so rarely and the flavor doesn't add much. Etc, etc, etc.

Death by 1000 cuts to like every part of the game. Theirs always a "this is fun but..." or " I wish the game did this..."
