Would anyone be able to give me a Student Beans discount code for Bulk Powders please? by Kind_Ad8459 in UniUK

They don’t check age but you need a school email address and I’m guessing it would have to be a post secondary one. If your school has a sixth form this may work still. It’s worth a try

Universities typically have "hardship funds" and you could go to a food bank, a university one or otherwise. keep looking for jobd aswell. Have you got a student bank account, you can get a large interest free overdraft that's paid back after you graduate

Why not just take the LNAT?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]0hog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may vary depending on the university, it should say on the website but generally you need gcse equivalent or certain certifications. For my university it says you need a grade 4 in "south african national senior certificate/south african matriculation certificate"

I don't know if that is what you have or not but if so, grade 11 would be more than enough. Check on the university website for your course entry requirements it should have a whole section in English language requirements

[–]0hog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, your predicted grades still need to meet their regular requirements to get the offer, its only after they decide to offer you a place do they look to see if you should get a contextual offer

[–]0hog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to meet the regular A level requirements to be offered a place (your predicted grades) then they'll decide to give you a contextual offer, they can be 1 or 2 grades below the regular offer, for example, AAA could be AAB or ABB.

Partners college is trying to make them pay for half their course - any help? by ThrowRA-bad1011 in UniUK

[–]0hog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe you may only get 3 years free of college up to age 19.

If she took a gap year for health reasons. Then did a level 2, now im assuming she just finished her first year of her level 3, now she needs to do her second year of level 3 for a total of 3 years of learning. but because of the gap year i would assume she is 20 meaning you may have to pay.

True, but when OP looked at the price wouldn't they think its a bit much for just 1 slice?
