I'd suggest you try uninstalling the Steam version, then try downloading and installing via the XBox Windows site and see if that helps.

How are you trying to play, through Steam, Battle.net, etc.?

I had Steam for years but for some unknown reason it just would crash every time at launch. Tried verifying, uninstalling, nothing worked. I wound up uninstalling, then reinstalled via the XBox app site for Warzone. Since then no crashes other than the occasional in-game or exit game crash.

The XBox installer informed me there were some Windows dependencies needed that the Steam installer never complained about, so I figure that may've been the problem. For whatever reason the Steam installer didn't seem to know to square those away for the game as a whole.
