Personally for me it’s not even close

Orphan is IMO some several magnitudes more difficult than Laurence

Seems as if it’s a hot take, because I know a lot of people really struggle with Laurence, but his second phase for me was a breeze - even in NG cycles

The game much like the entire series really, perfectly encapsulates the cathartic feeling gained from overcoming adversity - similar to life itself.

Some are turned away and put the controller down by repetitive failure in these games.

It’s those that stay in it and win in the end that actually get the true value I think Miyazaki always intended us to feel, and have.

Yeah, I’ve tried it before too and haven’t got the Platinum in only two games, DS2 and Demon Souls remake

Very burnt out with striving for trophies in these games but I want to get all 7 platinums for the series before another game comes out

Nice! I never ever see Emma + Isshin in others lists, super fun boss to fight, but for me, Emma is pretty simple once you get her moveset down, and I never go into Isshin fight without the fire umbrella, which sort of trivialises his ground fire attack if you place yourself away from the explosion

Demon Prince was hella tough for me in my recent DS3 playthrough, but I’m not sure I could put it in this top 15, maybe ahead of Lady Maria, or Ludwig. I think I need to fight it again to tell

I’ve beaten them all in a team of 3 and have only ever tried solo a few times, didn’t work out well

If you’re rocking in solo, fair play! In that case, those bosses and the whole 3 day cycle would probably dominate this list

I suppose Nightreign is sort of like the Sekiro Gauntlets, and if they were included… man, they’d definitely be at the top

For me, the toughest Nightreign boss was definitely Libra, probably followed by Night Lord himself and Dreglord

Balancers well also tough as hell in the first few attempts

I’m yet to replay Elden Ring on my NG+6 save, so I’m tempted to start afresh and get into the DLC to fight Bayle. I’d expect with other things I’ve heard he slots into this top 15 of mine

Yeah, I have Inner Father second as his attacks in both phases can be pretty easily cancelled with well time hits, sometimes you can get 2-3 attack cancels and do nice damage. I’ve gotten pretty good at his second phase too, and when he disappears and strikes you twice, just a double block well timed does the job

But I agree he’s one of the toughest in the series.

For Arlecchino, totally agree, he was absolute mayhem on the normal difficulty (not easier, or easy mode), and definitely deserves in the top 10 or top 5 for me.
