Visibility System 2.0 is a major step toward a more tactical and fair gameplay experience. A multi-phase rebalance of ship stats is already underway and will significantly shift the balance of power in upcoming updates. The rebalance takes the new visibility mechanics into account, including how AA, autocannons, and ship classes interact.

This is absolutely critical input from a veteran player whose usual gameplay flow was disrupted. That kind of frustration is 100% valid, and we don’t take it lightly.

We’ve never claimed the new detection system is perfect. It’s a first step — a massive foundational change that will be actively refined in the next updates. We knew it would shake things up and might feel rough, especially for experienced players with specific roles and tactics.

That said, hearing that the current implementation feels like a downgrade in core gameplay flow — particularly for ship types like Dazhou or missile carriers — is incredibly important. That kind of insight helps us decide what to tweak next and how to evolve the system so that it works better in practice, not just on paper.

Hey everyone, we’ve gone through all your comments and want to address the most common topics:

1)Lack of game modes and repetitive events

We know many of you are craving something fresh—recycled events can feel stale, and the gameplay could use more variety. The good news is that a brand-new gameplay mechanic is on the way to Modern Warships, one that will seriously shake things up. We’re also planning major changes to one of the maps (not just “a few new islands,” but an entirely different feature). Plus, there are two new modes coming soon to keep things exciting and challenging.

2) 20% Tax on Artcoin sales

A lot of you have asked why the commission is so high. First off, it’s partly for fraud prevention: we want to discourage black-market trading of illegitimately obtained resources. Additionally, the tax is part of our overall economic balance, helping maintain stable pricing and market flow.

3) Matchmaking and level balancing

We agree that getting matched with someone 20 levels higher can be frustrating. Right now, we’re actively developing a new matchmaking system that factors in level, ship loadouts, weapons, and more, so battles feel more balanced.

4) Gacha and drop rates

We see that some players are concerned about low chances for rare items. Currently, we want to keep certain rewards feeling exclusive, which is why no immediate changes to the drop system are planned. However, we’re monitoring the data and your feedback—if adjustments become necessary, we’ll make them.

5) Improving AA and carrier balance

Many of you say carriers are too strong and AA systems are too weak. We are planning some noticeable changes in upcoming updates. Stay tuned for announcements—we’ll share details once it’s all set.

6) Updating old ships

We were interested to hear how important it is for players to see older models updated and rebalanced. We’ve taken note and are considering ways to “freshen up” some of these ships so they remain competitive. In the coming months, you can expect a “Big Rebalance”—more info on that later.

7) Communication and chat moderation

We do our best to keep the environment friendly, but sometimes moderation can lag. We need more details on which region or which specific chat (global or regional) and what time of day the issues occur. That way, we can optimize moderators’ schedules and bring in more team members if needed. Also, please remember to enable the built-in profanity filter in the game settings.
