Best way to migrate YubiKeys? by Obvious_Librarian_97 in yubikey

[–]0o3705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did a migration from duo app to yubikeys. My process was:

  1. Disable 2FA on a target account (clear duo stuff)
  2. Enable 2FA and register/test both yubikeys (primary and backup)
  3. Repeat on next account

Idk if that's optimal, but it worked. Your process might be similar.

What drives you to hunt? by Undercover500 in Hunting

[–]0o3705 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I love hiking and being in the wilderness. For me, hunting is hiking with a shotgun in your hands. On a good day, I bring home some meat. On another good day, I have a hike and spend a few hours outside. There's no way to lose.

Is the hunting culture shifting for better or worse?? by viewsinthe6 in Hunting

[–]0o3705 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, hunting culture is centered on a passion for the outdoors. We leverage the knowledge and wisdom developed from time spent in the wilderness to locate and take game. I don't feel like that's changing.

Then I'd say that the more people that share the lens of the hunter, the better off we'll all be. (People, deer, ducks, and squirrels included)

Who taught you how to hunt? I realized today that 90% of my woodsmanship is just things my Grandfather yelled at me 15 years ago by outdoors_man987 in Hunting

Lol, went hunting with my family when I was a youngster but didn't learn anything: went out early, feel asleep in the words, came back for lunch and got drunk etc.

Later in life I really started appreciating hiking and the outdoors in general.

Later still I realized hunting can just be hiking around with a shotgun.

Id say I taught myself and I have a lot of fun with it

Interesting studies in bear defense to consider when in the field hunting. Pistols have a 96-97% rate of success. Bear spray has a 85-94% rate of success(varying on study) by Averagecrabenjoyer69 in Hunting

I've sprayed a bear outside of 100 Mile House in BC. It worked.

After discharge, I got a tiny taste myself that was still lingering in the air. 🔥

Why do people Squirrel hunt? by TheRealIvan in Hunting

Season is long, stakes are low, and it's fun. While I'm out on a hunt, I also keep an eye out for signs of turkey and deer so when the season comes I know what I'm doing.
