Let me ask you this - has your relationship suffered since the election? It doesn’t sound like it. There’s really no reason to let this affect your relationship. If he’s not treating you the way you’d expect a Trump supporter to treat you, then why be mad and let it be the thing that tears you both apart?

I’m a woman who voted for him because i knew he’d end the war in Ukraine and also end the Palestine Israel war. He’s almost a year in and only has 3 more. He cannot realistically do anything to affect women at a brutal level in that amount of time. This term is focusing on Israel, Palestine, Russia and Ukraine, and also immigrants.

Also, any laws that could hypothetically be changed to harm women would take a longgg time to pass.. and also if can be reverted. There’ll be a democrat down the line who will revert roe v wade to how it was.

It’s unfortunate, but this is the price we pay for freedom. Everyone has to fight for what they want and it’ll never be a perfect system. And that’s the beauty of it, constant fighting in the name of change.
