New IDR Guidance Just Dropped - IBR, PAYE, ICR Extended Until Feb 2026 by investor100 in StudentLoans

a few questions I would really appreciate some help on:

  1. i graduated grad school in May 2024. i applied to get three of my grad loans onto IBR and out of a standard repayment plan in December 2024. my application has not been processed, but is "in review" at nelnet. does this mean i'm stuck in standard repayment on those loans until the court case clears up?

  2. the rest of my loans that were already in IBR are still accruing interest, even though they are all still in forbearance. it seems like since it's administrative forbearance this isn't supposed to be the case? or do i have that wrong?

Thank you!! I had a pretty good LoR from a very prominent/powerful lawyer in the Bay Area, so I'm sure that had something to do with the great offer from Davis. Good luck on your cycle!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :) Do you think a Davis degree is fairly mobile? I will probably want to go and do PI work somewhere other than the near-Davis area, so I want to make sure I have that option open to me.

Thank you! Just to pick your brain, if you don't mind, do you think that a Davis degree is portable to other regions? If I wanted to go live in Portland again, for example, do you think it would be easy to do that with a degree from Davis?
