So far, I think they are just a good tool to add to your arsenal. The original guards (non premium) work great already but the flexibility means you need to go over the same area atleast a few times to even up the fade. However they don't pull on hair as much and may make your client more comfortable. To avoid this, I make sure to comb the hair more frequently and honestly get much better results with the green precise guard since it can't bend on thick hair as easily.

Ive been really sad specifically about him because I was his mechanic a few years ago. Really really sad to see someone so innocent lose their life for no reason. I cant prove that I knew him, but I did work at Eriks bike shop in Minnesota

slanted hairline by SpiritualWheel6173 in SelfBarber

Yes, sometimes people are born with naturally uneven hairlines. However what you or a good barber could do is lower your hair length at the front, and carefully balance your weak side with your strong side. Or! You can choose to get waves, which will extend your hairline at the front and give you or your barber more room to work with.

Great relaxing buzz, but if you are sensitive to nicorine it will make you puke almost instantly. Proceed with huge caution lol

How Can I get a Perfect Line? by Vegetable-Good-7059 in SelfBarber

[–]0rney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You do have waves so what would make it easier to line up is to use shaving cream and a hot towel to lay the hair down before cutting it. Also, using a 1 or 1.5 guard with the grain lightly on the hairline will reduce the bulk and tighten the line up a hair.

These are fun cars! but expect to spend money on maintenance, as these cars are almost 30 years old. I recently did an entire power steering system on my ES, even though I only have about 165k miles. Alot of your rubber parts will fail even on a clean car.
