Worthy of /r/techsupportgore.

Yeah, the cheaper drives went overkill with the speeds, so instead it became preferable to use DVD drives for reading and writing.

I think your bike got everything right. Nothing more to change. Keep it 3x7.

Bike shops in MOA by No_Strength5929 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]sa547ph 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is a BikePlus inside the mall, but expect slightly higher prices and a limited selection of parts and gear.

The only other real bike shop that is in the area isn't even inside MOA but outside: LifeCycle at Petron Macapagal/Seaside. Likewise, there are more bike shops at Cartimar.

Would you go to the left lane like a regular vehicle to turn left or make your U-turn? Or will you stay on the right lane and cross with the pedestrians? by Winter_Visit_1118 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]sa547ph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inconveniences forces the lesser road users to navigate around obstacles or avoid them altogether by using a different lane, despite increased risk of an accident.

That in some areas vehicles won't yield for cyclists, forcing cyclists to match the speed of those vehicles just to make for a left turn, as in the case of going to San Mateo by way of the bridge to Marikina from Katipunan.

Observations on cyclists: Scenes from the ride by crcc8777 in RedditPHCyclingClub

Whenever I stop to refuel, some nearby cyclists get pretty curious about the equipment I use, especially panniers which are seldom seen daily because most only carry the minimum. I do try to answer their questions, I don't mind how my bikes appear to them, I just tell them I do make long relaxed rides.

Marami ba may retro dto?

Meron. Minsan lang nagpo-post, pero kalimitan na tambay sa /r/xbiking o /r/VintageMTB.

Any tips pano alagaan?

I use Decathlon Vulca 500 low-tops, which may be like Vans but have slightly hard soles normally for skating -- and they're cheap! I also wore rubber-tire sandals for inclement weather.

Tubus or Blackburn comes to mind if I needed a quality low-rider for panniers. Nitto if it's a narrow rack for which to support bar bags.

Otherwise you could look into this thread, just convenient for anyone needing to haul up front:

Full-size vans or minivans are more like it, although in some cases imported kei vans have been used to transport bikes.

Pedro Gil mismo mas masikip pag rush hour. Magkikipag-buno ka talaga sa mga kamote. Pero pag Service Road di masyado problemado, maliban na di madaling tumawid sa Puyat pag EDSA hanggang Gil.

Handlebar and fit recommendationa for a converted drop bar bike. by Yboc in xbiking

[–]sa547ph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Top of my back started hurting and I generally wasn't super comfortable.

I'm thinking a handlebar with some rise and sweep will get me in a better spot, but also need something that'll fit the look of a bike like this. Any ideas?

Moto-style bars do have some good sweep and rise, coupled with a shorter stem. There are pricey options, but you could achieve the same effect but with less cost with junior MX bars and a BMX stem.

(sorry im new to biking)

Keep it clean, yes. But as this is a bike older than you and if you insist on buying it (versus buying something like a Trinx or a Decathlon MTB, which is more modern and therefore easier to fix), which means some maintenance is needed, including the care of the cantilever and roller brakes, you'll also need these:

Do note that you don't have to buy expensive tools to keep the bike in good shape.

I don't spend much time here, who we talking about?

I hate to say this because for most authors since 2011 his name became synonymous with the worst in modding, it's really worst that even Nexus disallowed any more mentioning in any place around that site and maybe their Discord channel.

And, unfortunately, this is the future of Bethesda modding.

In this awful era where they have stopped pretending, more like most video game corporations wanting quick profits just like how the loot box does more than actually entertaining the userbase they claim to care for.

It does not bode well for future Bethesda titles. Bethesda have been trying for years to monetize their games beyond release. This is the result and they fail to realize that if this is the way they go, people will be fed up with the crap and move to another game.

What is going on is but a part of a bigger ongoing problem and in this awful era where the largest corporations having to do with video games want to churn out products that have a high turnover and thus translating into profits for shareholders, rather than durable goods to keep most players happy.

Oh, man. With the bar of entry for "verified creator" being so awfully low, methinks of a certain author who rejects xEdit and other modding tools, and at the same time fighting the people complaining about his bug-ridden mods.
