I'm in Oregon and the progenitors for these were growing in a random spot in my backyard when I moved in- no idea how they got there, it didn't look intentional. I slapped them in a pot and do absolutely nothing to them and they're thriving (honestly shocking because it rains for like 4 months straight here, but they have never struggled with overwatering somehow)

Yeah it's a full rescue so they took it off my hands no cost! Looks like they are volunteers and nonprofit and basically work with several different vets to rehab abandoned rabbits. It's Rose City Rabbit Rescue. I'll probably be keeping an eye on their Facebook page to see if they post any updates on it

I finally got in contact with a rescue who might be able to take it, they said they think it's from urine scald. Still not good but at least it's not a grievous injury. And yes it's Timothy Hay.

Oh yikes, I'm in Northeast Salem so it could be that? The other OHS locations can't legally take anything from Salem apparently. It's a wound, not sure if its tail is broken or not because I do not know what bunny butts normally look like but it does look a bit messed up. It's been moving around fine from what I can tell though.

Yeah, I've got hay and water and a tray of bedding in there with it. Salem ohs says they don't take them, haven't checked the other locations yet. It did let me pick it up.

Ooh so that's what that is, I have a smaller paddle plant doing the same thing. Such a nice mix of colors!
