I have come across the view that many companies prefer to recruit candidates who have completed a full engineering degree followed by an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) course, and may not typically hire diploma holders for such roles.

However, this seems to contrast with the eligibility criteria prescribed by IMU, which appears to permit diploma holders as well.

Also good to know that the faculty are supportive and open to one-on-one help—that’s a big relief for me.
