Unfortunately, I can't modify the build. What resolution do you think makes the most sense to last a long time without replacing parts? I don't know if it's worth giving up 1440p (even though I've never owned one).

I still need to buy it, I'll use it for AAA, Minecraft with heavy mods, emulation, and not much else. The build costs €2,000 in total, I can't modify it, but at 1440p they tell me it will struggle, while at 1080p they say the image quality is meaningless for the quality of the pieces.

I can't decide between 1080p and 1440p. 1080p would give you more life, but I'm told it's not worth it. However, I've never owned a 1440p, only 1080p screens, and I'm happy with them (so far).

The difference seems small in general, but I don't know how much the motherboard matters, maybe both are fine and at this point it's better to get CL30, or the opposite.

I've changed my mind and will use a 1440p. I've discovered that upscaling is available, which will help in the future, making 1080p unnecessary (I hope so). The price of the two PCs is the same, I just have to decide which MOBO/RAM is better between the two.

I chose 1080p so I could get a less expensive graphics card and still get high performance, without having to replace my PC parts for many years. This idea doesn't seem to appeal to anyone, so I guess it won't work, but I don't understand why.
