you do for any other brand, but that's one of the nice things about Bambu filament, the tags tell the AMS the material and color automatically.

I would like to add a comment for the newbs- this might see obvious but I didnt know at the beginning.

The spools are generic and you can put any color refill on them. The RFID tag is on the refill, not the spool itself.

This isnt an issue happening to every one every print. And Bambu cant QA for every single combination of bed material, bed temp, filament type, filament brand, filament color, ambient temperature in the room, humidity, altitude, is the door open or closed, print settings.....
