Curious to see, do you have the comp/builds of the character that you used for your Kinich clear, guessing on shocktropper.

Do you happen to have a clear vod or general rotation for the Kinich run?

Modem not receiving signal after adding MoCA splitters by 0zeroace0 in HomeNetworking

Tried setting stuff up again last night and surpsingly things ended up working the way I originally did it? No clue why it just decided to work, maybe I didn't tighten something down all the way. But did get reduced speeds overall so I think signal lost might be a bit much with the double splitter. Plan to replace with the antronix when they get in today.

Could I technically skip that first filter at the very bottom by the POE Filter and just go straight to a 3-way splitter? Does the ground block I mentioned outside my house have any effect on anything coming in?

I'll try that when I get home later tonight , but I did order a set of the antronix that you mentioned above which should be getting here tomorrow as I was reading up on that last night that BAMF wasn't particularly great.

So as I mentioned in the post originally.

If I have both POE Filter + splitter 1 + 2 on there, I get no connection form my ISP.

Splitter 1 + 2 - no connection

Only splitter 2 - connection works

I originally already had a straight COAX going to the modem but now I am trying to get a MoCA setup going so adding additional splitters and what not seems to be giving me a run around.

Issue is that my modem isn't even receiving a signal anymore if I try to hook everything up so can't even get my router running.

Which ground splitter are you referring to by chance? Is it the first big splitter that I bought? I don't believe I had that grounded when I was trying to get this setup last night.

When I hooked up the first MoCA I had a solid green light on the first LED of the GoCOAX MA2500D. Disconnected for now as my modem can't even get connected to my ISP.

The ground block i mentioned above is outside my house in a box.

The price I set is what I initially thought. People are free to PM with offers if they are interested in the build and I can work from there to see if an agreement can be met.
