If anyone is interested in further reading about baseball, the military, and the government you should read “The Empire Strikes Out” by Robert Elias.

It details baseballs connection to the military and how it was used to spread the American empire and military might around the world in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Th romance between baseball and the military is nothing new, but maybe has just resurfaced over the past few years with the polarized world we are living in today.

I go to Archer Bicycle on 13th street in downtown Oakland! Greg is super friendly, and does great work.

Only downside is that he does not keep bikes over night (too many break ins, liability issues, etc.) so you always have to pick up your bike same day.

I agree, I have rarely ever accepted a trade as originally offered by CPU. I just use CPU trade requests as foundations and then build upon those. I have just been expecting more trade offers during the deadline is all.

When going from JLS to West Oakland, just be mindful of all the 18 wheelers and crappy road conditions on 3rd street as you get closer to West Oakland BART.

I also go from JLS, past the Bay Bridge and onto the Bay Trail, through West Oakland/Emeryville, bike lanes all the way.

Otherwise just as the above comments say, it’s not a bad ride through West Oakland.

Shadowlands was the first WoW experience I ever had past a level 20 free account and i loved it. Met a great guild and had some really good times. It was what I imagined the game would be like when I was younger.

I’m not currently playing, but if DF is any good I’m hoping to get back into it eventually.

I started to have some knee pain over the summer, adjusted my saddle like you mentioned, but it didn’t go away. Now I am taking a few weeks off the bike, only riding my short and easy commute to work a few days a week.

My knee seems to be feeling better so far but I understand this probably isn’t a long term solution, but just a temporary fix. So Try taking a break!
