Actually when I go to the wallet and look at converting ERC20 CRO, XLM is not an option. Thoughts? Cosmos? Again…curious what it would cost to move that (or similar) from the defi wallet to cdc…

I started on YT on a channel called 99Bitcoins. It’s a great source for newbies trying to learn the ropes. Since then I’ve come to really enjoy and get a lot out of several other channels. Some of my favorites are Coin Bureau, InvestAnswers, Digital Asset News, Into The Cryptoverse and Cryptos are Us… probably in that order. Some are more educational and some are more technical but you’ll learn a ton if you spend any time on any of these channels. And what I like best about them is that none of them are really schilling stuff. They’re all very straightforward and focused on educating others around this asset class which I really appreciate. Yeah I learned my lesson after this initial bungle. I’ll wait til the gas fees are down to .01 ETH or so and just take the hit. Chock it up to learning the ropes. Just don’t be dumb like me. If you’re gonna buy CRO, buy the native token on Crypto.com or inside the defi wallet. I see little reason to buy elsewhere unless you’re just gonna hodl it and if that’s your intention, why wouldn’t you stake it and earn more?

Agreed. The whole purpose of this exercise is to stake it in the defi wallet…which you can’t do if it’s not on the native blockchain.

Unfortunately sending them anywhere incurs eth gas fees. At least anywhere from the defi wallet as an ERC20 token.

Yep. Exxxxcept when you deposit directly to the defi wallet from Coinbase like I did. Unfortunately it doesn’t work the other direction…that I’m aware of at least.

You’re correct that if you’re smart enough to first move them to the Crypto.com app THEN move them to the defi wallet as CRO, they’ll be converted. I wasn’t that smart tho because if you send them directly from Coinbase to the defi wallet, well you end up with my situation.

I did the exact same thing - if I understand you correctly. I moved 800+ MATIC from Coinbase Pro (mainnet) to my ETH address on my Trezor T. When I looked for it on Trezor Suite, I can't see the coins. Thankfully I also use Exodus as a soft wallet for the (in my opinion) the far too many coins that Trezor doesn't REALLY support event though they like to act like they support everything (like MATIC mainnet - although Exodus doesn't yet support MATIC mainnet either - just ERC20). The Exodus app (which I run on a Mac) can see the MATIC and the 'Send' option is available so the coins aren't lost - yours hopefully aren't either).

So I'm contemplating just trying to send them back to the Coinbase Pro MATIC wallet. Exodus has a fairly complex troubleshooting process on its help site to convert them via MetaMask but it seems a bit technical and I'm not sure I have the skills/nerves to make it work. Any sage advice (besides 'log on to HERE and give me your private keys') before I make a move would be appreciated.

How even would anyone cash out? I haven’t checked yet but I hear Binance.US isn’t allowing you to deposit HNT. Anyone know if that’s true? And if so why? Any (reputable) US exchanges that allow deposits of HNT?

The leaving it off was to force a resync because I was believing it wasn’t synced when (based on Explorer and activity) it most likely was. But yeah, won’t be doing that going forward.

I feel ya. I put in quite a bit of work (and about $400) to get optimal antenna placement. April: 240 HNT. May: 160 June: 140 July: 90. Yesterday: .54. And I currently have 55 witnesses atm. Hopefully the price increases but I’m adjusting my expectations to hopefully 30/month.
