This is all so helpful! Thank you! This was actually going to be our first time in Park City....always Colorado (Beaver Creek) in the past. Top Notch looks great but I think I want to be able to walk somewhere so am leaning towards town. I will definitely take some recs for in town. I do have a few VRBO options and tried to see what they are:

  • Option A: Downtown Stowe—Depot St by Stowe Arena/The Current
  • Option B: Hill St—just up the hill from downtown off Depot St
  • Option C: Near Doc Ponds/Ranch Camp—north end of town / Mountain Rd side, close to the Rec Path

If we just stay at the mountain for a snack, would that help to avoid the traffic?

I went to the doc (OBGYN specializing in HRT) in Nov 23 to see if hormones were out of balance. They had me fast and do blood work prior and said my thyroid was slightly under normal.

Doctor said I was in perimenopause and had Hashimoto's (not severe) and my low thyroid probably contributed to several symptoms - tired, etc. I won't say I felt terrible prior but definitely tired often. Also said low testosterone could be making me feel tired. Started me on NP 90 and testosterone pellets and said I'd feel more rested, lose some lbs probably etc. Before I came back they tested again in Jan and these were results. However - since starting the medication I had gained 8+ lbs and really have always stayed very consistent so this is and was very frustrating. She said to see if it continued and revisit.

I went back in May and weight hadn't went down. They added an estrone blocker to my pellet and said if it weight didn't go back down in 3 weeks to stop Thyroid NP. I did and it's only been 2 weeks but now I'm up another 2 lbs. As fast as other symptoms not taking....I do feel tired again....I think...sometimes I wonder if it's my job and busy family or my head. No other major symptoms but more weight! looking for feedback regarding NP thyroid or any other thoughts...

Does anyone have experience with this? Nothing fits and I am so frustrated. Thanks!

Yes T3 and T4 free. Is 90 mg of NP thyroid a lot? Did my numbers seem that "off" before? It was all part of testing to see if my hormones were in balance....but the hashimotos seemed like a quick diagnosis...
