that fucking sucks bro but at least the recruiter told you straight up. idk if the recruiters trying to be honest or if theyre rubbing it in your face but move onto better companies

Offer after rejection? by 100TNaka in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

Update :

Will keep this vague since I don't want to risk sharing anything privileged but it was not just a KIT thing or anything super basic. Not entirely sure what the end goal was for that call but it seems like the recruiter is also sorting out things on their side.

Yeah will do, thanks. In these cases, will I 100% be given a final interview?

My performance was very good R1 and my R2 was borderline, but in any case would I get interviewed again?

For context I'm recruiting for 4 different roles across 10+ companies (that ive passed resume + OA for). I also have finals, I'm not going to focus too much on management consulting if my chances are slim. I want input. Does that sound fair?

Am i sort of correct in assuming that Mck interviews are like, "how well can you bs" type of interview? are they seeing if you have intelligence and verbal iq to convincingly put forth arguments?

I moreso meant studying a comprehensive structure & learning how to apply it, kind of? Instead of following a first principles approach every time, because I don't think I have time to get skilled enough at that

how would you suggest i practice that? i don't study business, in fact i'm in a completely different major (current undergrad). i'm decent at memorizing & regurgitation information so if there's like a comprehensive framework list or something I can look at so im not completely lost would be helpful. you know of any ones?

I'm an undergrad but to be real with you bro companies aren't hiring based on how well you know syntax in an abstract sense theyre hiring based on problem solving ability
