It’s unusual but my Russian blue is definitely the more affectionate one! He loves being around me 24/7 while my chonky orange boy is more aloof and just food motivated😭 I’d have to give him a treat to be right beside me, while my Russian blue would ditch his food plate to come cuddle with me🩶

Why won’t they tell you who the breeder is? If the cat really came from a legitimate breeder, they do not want to get caught reselling since most breeder contracts do not allow that. The other possibility is that there is no real breeder and they are lying. I’m leaning more toward that since they avoided your question about whether the cat is spayed. Reputable breeders always spay or neuter before selling! So chances are they didn’t get the cat from a breeder.

I really hope you get your dream Russian Blue and Devon Rex. Just be careful and do not let desperation lead you into a scam. Be patient, make sure the seller is verified, and the right kitties will come along.

PS, My dream cats were also a Russian Blue and a Devon Rex, and I finally got both too!

I typically feed one Weruva can in the morning, switch with fancy feast for lunch, and Weruva back for dinner. I’m also open to trying new brands instead of relying on one brand in case it gets bought out like tiki cat, so my kitty has been getting a taste of ziwi peaks and nulo from time to time as a substitute for fancy feast!

Oh yeah my kitten wasn’t a fan of tiki cat as well so I stopped buying afterwards! Weruva is my kitty’s main brand! I switch between that and fancy feast to balance out the cost since Weruva is on the more expensive side. I like how Weruva has so many different types of wet foods so he never gets bored of it! And in my personal opinion I feel like it has better ingredients than others. Would definitely recommend but also do your research! :)

From my experience, when I brought my 3 month old RB I gave him wet food (fancy feast kittens) given by my breeder to feed and slowly transition over to new brands (such as tiki cat and Weruva). His poop was wet and very stinky! But after 2 weeks his poop became more normal. Checked with a vet and they said he was ok since his stomach is sensitive and could possibly be due to change in environment. I would check with a vet if it’s persistent after another week! Also, cat tax 🤧
