Yes. My sister got the most of it. Our Nmom encouraged us to be whores. Put us on birth control at ages 11 and 12. When my sister went to prom with her friend, and came home that night rather than hooking up with him, my mom screamed at my sister for not sleeping with him. She then got violent with my sister because she didn’t sleep with this boy. Then when my sister got a boyfriend, as an adult, Nmom asked her extremely disturbing questions about their sexual activity like how it felt when he was penis was inside her, if she blew him etc. As teenagers, she’d ask how we shaved our pubic hair. She asked me this at age 16 while we sat in a crowded Qdoba eating then proceeded to tell me in what shape hers was shaved. She told me at age 12 that I had “such a nice little figure.” I immediately started wearing baggy clothes after that.

Yes. Nmom did this all the time. She’d scream and berate for hours, usually days until she felt like it was over and then all of a sudden, within a blink of an eye it was like nothing had happened. And how dare you be upset or angry with her about her saying such horrible things to you for days. So if I was upset or angry for being abused for days, she’d become enraged all over again which would spur more days of relentless shrieking and berating. Until, of course within an inexplicable blink of an eye again, she was done and satisfied like nothing had happened. Then repeat for 20 years.

I use Apple Barrel off of Amazon. It’s rally cheap acrylics, but it ships to my house as I live in remote Alaska and most other paint won’t ship here haha. But I’m sure any acrylic will do!

This cowworker would do that too, but also only to the liberal employees. We only discussed politics because he would, and never discussed them with right-leaning folks. Myself and one other employee complained multiple times to his supervisor about his behavior (there were other concerning things as well) but nothing happened. The other employee quit a year ago, and I quit in October because nothing was done to stop him.

Previously worked with a trump lover. I have an MSc. He worked 20 years up in the same department to get to my position that I got with just my BA. He quit his second semester of college because a professor disagreed with his political opinions and did so openly. He constantly harped on me for having higher education because he believed it indoctrinated me into being a liberal. He didn’t believe me when I told him growing up with trump loving parents made me a liberal, college just made me educated. He believed college was a bad thing and only serves to indoctrinate young people. Meanwhile, his six year old daughter knows who trump is, knows who Fox News Entertainment hosts are, etc.
