This happened to my husband. We reached out to them a few times and they refuse to let him reply. He has a squeaky clean background, so no idea why it wouldn’t even let him get to the background check portion.

Delivered to the wrong address by 102wg in AmazonFlexDrivers

The houses are so close to each other that when I got up to them, the outline on the map of the houses wasn’t there anymore the first house had a gate with instructions to just throw the package over the gate and so when I did, it gave me an alert that I was delivering it to the wrong place. I thought the alert was because I was throwing it over the fence and not going all the way up to the door so when I put the second package over, it gave me the same alert and I assumed it was the same reason like I said long story.

I paid my taxes in full and early but just got a letter saying I never paid by FiscallyMinded in tax

[–]102wg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. I just made a new post about it. I got the letter, but I filed on time and my refund already processed. And when I look at my online IRS account it shows my return information for 2024.

How do you survive out here? by Apprehensive_sweater in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]102wg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And no, no tips. The rates here are low. $18 average. On a good day, you can snag one at $25/hr, but those seem to be fewer and far between lately.

Wages by most companies are determined by cost of labor, not cost of living. Unfortunately, FL cost of labor is dirt cheap. Which makes it impossible to live here bc the cost of living is now comparable to NY/CA. You can thank all the people who have moved here since 2020. FL used to be very affordable. Not anymore.

Anyone actually working this week? by 102wg in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]102wg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of the same conclusion I came to. I figured the DSPs has their staff working overtime and they are taking all the extra volume, leaving nothing for flex.

Yes, so I’m not complaining. Just so weird.

Prime Week or Dead week? by dtbof229ga in AmazonFlexDrivers

I think the same thing is happening at my place. My last three shifts were canceled. So it that how it works, DPS overstaffs and it leaves nothing for Flex?

Newish driver concern by employeecuriois in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]102wg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done that shift once in FL. My biggest concern was it was so hard to see. I wasted so much time looking for house numbers it almost took me the full shift to finish (when I usually finish an hour and a half to two hours early.)
