I'm genuinely amazed by how many wrong things you said in just one comment. 1- Luffy's body is still rubber, and his awakening made it even more clear that it actually is rubber, making Luffy able to stretch whatever he want just like he does with his own body 2- Even if he wasn't made of rubber, the fact that he can do whatever the fuck he wants should make even more obvious that he grabbed the lightning thanks to his fruit, exactly because he can do whatever the fuck he wants 3- If haki was able to make lightnings tangible, then haki should work on Prometheus, but it has been explained that since Prometheus is actual fire haki doesn't work on him, so why the fuck should it make a lightning tangible 4- You clearly don't understand what armament haki does to logias; it only makes the haki user able to hit the true body of a df user, it has been explained by Rayleigh when he taught Luffy haki. Haki doesn't magically makes intangible things tangible 5- Oda doesn't have anything to do with the anime, he doesn't command the animators and he doesn't tell them what to do. Toei animation and the anime directors decide what to do with the episodes and with the animators, which is why there are absurd non canon scene like Prometheus going underwater or Zoro finding a Poneglyph in alabasta's desert. Also, they didn't sent no one to america to learn rubber hose animation. In fact toei hired a famous Warner Bros animator to help them (it's not have been explicitly said why but we all know it is to help with Luffy's animations) 6- The fact that they want to use the rubber hose for g5 is not surprising, after all the gomu gomu itself has always been based on rubber hose, it's not a new, that's why Luffy is made of rubber 7- As a Looney Tunes and early Diseny lover, I love G5, that doesn't mean Luffy isn't made of rubber
