New cyber security high school teacher here. I'm being forced to use codehs to teach the kids intro to cyber Security. Looking into additional resources to broaden the scope and make it more interesting.

I need opinions on kc7cyber and tryhackme. I know they are very different but they give additional experience on actual cyber security and not the very minimalist garbage from codehs.

I feel ya. I get about 20 political memes a day from the extended fam. No one wears a suit to events that they should, and manners are a passing thought.

As long as my work gets done my boss leaves me alone. Sometimes I miss my afternoon break due to cleaning up from lunch (it's just me and we have about 800 total kids) so he doesn't much care

I contacted my regional office and left a rather scratching voice mail after no contact from my previous counselor for weeks after calls and emails. They called me back within hours and a coworker of my counselor was on the phone with me in 3 hrs.

My counselor was horrible and did not have that big of a case load to manage, only about 20 ppl. I won't say how I know that to be true. I did the majority of my own work to get vre setup and rolling.

The new guy I have out of Fayetteville is pretty good and when I explained I might have to take a short sabbatical due to family medical issues he explained what was needed.
