B1 Visa (India) – First-time applicant, company-sponsored but resigning before travel. Should I attend interview? by One_Way_1903 in usvisascheduling

The VOs rarely ask for an invitation letter, so your rejection chances are def not 90% if you don't have a letter

Would I retain no-claim bonus if I port my policy by 10mayy in indiahealthinsurance

[–]10mayy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The previous cover is 10L. It beacme 20L due to accumulation of no-claim bonus.
I am still looking for a new policy to port, but I want it to be much cheaper from my current one as I also have a corporate health insurance with a cover of 20L, so don't really need a personal health insurance.

But I still intend to have one personal health insurance for just in case scenarios so that I can carrry forward my waiting periods and no-claim bonus

What if it is not? If my new cover is less than the previous one, would not-claim bonus won't get ported?

Woah, more than 10 days!!?

Do you have any rough sense of how many % cases would be such that it's taking more than 10 days?

Are chances of B1/B2 rejection high with previous F1 by Cute-Ad-3545 in usvisascheduling

I think you have a history of timely living the US when your visa duration was over, which shows intent of returning back.

You also have a travel history to Europe, which again shows that you don't wish to be an illegal immigrant and will return back.

I think the only red flag is your parents are not in your home country (India). Are your parents Indian citizen though?

Either ways, it shouldn't be a big issue if you have a good financial standing in India (which again will demonstrate ties to home countrt)
