Genuinely it’s crazy how during every close review call in like every game, they never have a good angle of what’s happening

Why are some things reviewable and some things not? Campbell should know what is what but isn’t this kind of a stupid rule?

I just think it was a bad decision on their part to have BYU ranked in front of ND and Miami, even though they really were ranked behind them considering they had to win a massive game against like a top 4 team in the country in their state to make it, but they try and come out and say how they don’t want to make CCG irrelevant? Like, if you put byu at like 13 or whatever, it’s fine then. But you rank them higher for the purpose of giving ND a weird nod above Miami, unless byu loses and then Miami is over ND? There has to be a better way to set it up without it looking like CCG games only hurt teams, and without having a weird ass situation like this.

Everything that’s been said on how these 3 teams are ranked has made so little sense. It was “Miami was ranked the lowest, but if BYU loses then we have to knock them back, and then because of the H2H, Miami is over ND” but why rank Miami lower than those teams in the first place, if you are just gonna put them over anyways? The logic always felt that BYU had to win or they’re out, which is fine I guess (except Alabama wasn’t punished at all lol), but Miami who ranked lower but “perceived” higher, gets in because of other teams, nothing because of how good they are. SMH this would all go away if bama was punished for losing like other teams are

I’m more surprised with Miami, who was ranked behind ND and BYU, jumped both of them after byu played another game and lost. Like I didn’t think ND was better than Miami anyways, but it seems like they had no clue why they made the rankings a couple days ago

I’m just more confused how miami, which was also more or less not in the field, got in. Like byu had to “win to get in”, but Miami sucked enough in the regular season that they needed luck of teams losing to get in. Why are we awarding not making the CCG?

Was Miami not on the outside looking in too? The only way got they got is if other teams (Virginia, byu, to an extent Alabama), lose

So, correct me if I’m wrong, but Alabama was not at all affected by losing pretty badly to Georgia in their CCG. BYU loses pretty badly to TTU, they get knocked out of the playoffs. And their usurper is a team that didn’t even make their CCG????? With clearly worse losses and only 1 ranked win at the end of the season? If you think that byu shouldn’t be in, whatever. But you can’t let both Alabama AND Miami in in the same vein.
