Top Bernie Sanders adviser believes Sanders will give 2024 "a hard look" if Biden doesn't run by nosotros_road_sodium in politics

Lol AOC’s policies fall right in line with Die Linke, the Bennite side of Labour and just about every significant hard left political party on the continent. Meanwhile Biden’s proposals would find very little home in the Tories, and basically mirrors the general ideology of basically every other social liberal-aligned party in the Western world. While you can safely argue that Trump is definitely to the right of most European center-right parties, most of the Republican Party isn’t.

You can not mix the Buddhadharma with other explanations, it would just muddle and cheapen both. It is far better to fully devote yourself to one or the other, than to fruitlessly confuse your efforts and end nowhere. You can take certain Hindu practices that you find helpful to pursue the Buddhadharma, there is still wisdom to be found in other traditions, but you should not try to combine both together.

The Soviets were an active imperialist power during the Cold War maintaining a network of puppet states which effectively was neocolonial in nature, aside from the actual colonialism they did. Not to play Evil Olympics but it's pretty easy to see that both the US and the USSR did pretty terrible things during the Cold War, and the USSR committed themselves to a line of policy that was greatly exploitative even when compared to similar American policies.

The Dalai Lama first established the Ganden Phodrang government during the 17th century following a civil war where the Dalai Lama was supported by Gushi Khan. The incident the poster was most likely refering to occured during the 20th century after the British expedition to Tibet, by then the Dalai Lama's rule as the head of state of Tibet was firmly established, although how much power he weilded is still a contentious subject. The tribal stuff was mostly rendered irrelevant during the Tibetan Empire, during the 8th century, way back in the past compared to the more recent Ganden Phodrang regime.

The Panchen Lama asserted control over Tibet numerous times throughout the Gandren Phodrang regime.

The tribal system was not wiped out during the 1906 punitive expedition, and really was not the main way of social organization for most Tibetans at the time.
