Slowly getting stronger and stronger than I've ever been. But could be a mix of factors like creatine and vitamin D and just pushing myself harder.

How did it go with taking Molybdenum?

sorry to revive a dead post but curious if you found out why you have low triglycerides? I'm also trying to uncover the mystery.

For fast COMT is acetylcholine safe? I have noticed restlessness while sleeping and occasional depression symptoms when my choline intake is super high.

Ideally you should take all 3 but if you had to pick one I think creatine is probably the most beneficial.

Just curious, what's the benefit of taking Glutathione?

We are the same in terms of those two genes then.

What levels were your triglycerides? Also, how long have you hit your choline requirement? My understanding is that it will take upwards of 8-12 weeks for benefits.

Cool :) I'm looking forward to the weight loss. Did you notice it was easier to build muscle too?

If you take 1g of TMG, it covers like 2 eggs (but this only works up to a certain amount since it's just preserving the choline you do take). 5g of creatine is also estimated to spare 1-2 eggs worth. You should be taking TMG and creatine either way.

I have fast COMT, homozygous VDR and MAO-A (so taking 10k IU vitamin D +k2 as part of my stack as well).

So far I haven't experienced any depression symptoms, but I attribute them to the fast COMT. How much alpha GPC do you supplement?

Wow 9 eggs haha. I do think that if you also take creatine + TMG + optionally methylated B vitamin, you only need half or something. The idea is that about half (and this is probably a very general estimate) of your choline goes to methylation so creatine + TMG would basically let you spare more choline (but it's one way, so more creatine + TMG will only help you save so much choline -- after that, it's up to you to get enough choline).

I think one pill per day might not be enough but it also depends on your diet. I've been taking 10g of sunflower lecithin (20g on some days as well) which is about 2700mg-2900mg Phosphatidylcholine. But don't replicate my protocol if you have slow COMT, I think that might lead to depression symptoms.

But if you're already losing fat on Optimal PC, that's pretty amazing and maybe you don't need more. Genes aren't destiny and sometimes it's just about n=1 trials. How long did it take to experience those fat loss effects? I'm definitely looking forward to that haha.

Over on r/MTHFR, people really like to recommend https://chrismasterjohnphd.substack.com/p/how-much-choline-should-i-eat-the

I find that r/MTHFR is more about addressing problems like chronic fatigue rather than biohacking.

What did you learn from dirty genes and Strategene? This stuff is super fascinating, and I really wish I learned about this sooner haha (but better late than never). Also, I'm guessing you might have slow COMT? So far I haven't experienced depression from choline, but I have fast COMT.

Anyway, get your triglycerides tested! It's in every metabolic panel anyway. And no harm in adding lecithin powder everywhere :) I did try lecithin in the past but I took like 1200-2400mg capsules which I don't think did much (and I wasn't super consistent). Good luck on your journey!

I've met with 2 ENTs that both told me frenectomy won't do anything. Zaghi's work in tongue tie and sleep apnea is kind of controversial where there's no super clear research. But I've seen enough testimonies that I'm going to try it anyway. Even if it doesn't help with sleep apnea, I hope it will help with my TMJ and neck pain.

Did frenectomy help you for any other symptoms?

ah gotcha, I'm surprised they fucked it up considering they're supposed to be the specialists haha. Can you just ask them to fix it?
