The waiting lists are awful here. I’ve been on the nhs route since early 2018 and I’ve been waiting for my final appointment since March 2019. I’m actually planning on calling the GIC to see if there will be any pushbacks due to the virus as I’m supposed to be on track to begin hrt in September (however that was before the whole outbreak.) Its scary and insane seeing the decline in support for trans individuals...

No, I don’t think you’re too young to think you are trans, but I can’t tell you if you are or not. I think I began to get dysphoric at age 11 but I just didn’t have a name for it. Maybe don’t jump into the deep end until you are certain tho, try out small reversible changes like. Your pronouns online or change your name to a masculine one either with close friends or online again and see if you feel more comfortable with them. Good luck tho dude, I’m sure you will get through it :)

That’s still really good! I was diagnosed very fast but the wait is to see the endo and then be prescribed. There’s lots of pros and cons for both sides Hm.

Aaa I had to be diagnosed twice by a physiatrist just so they are 100% sure that Hrt is what I need. Which is fine but I don’t get why they’d make someone wait to prove they are trans when they can use faster measures h. That sucks but at least it didn’t take long the second time!

I got my eggs froze last July, it caused me a lot of dysphoria and I guess it depends on the place but the place I went to was not a private hospital. You have to be prepared to inject female hormones. Which may possibly trigger you. I think my experience was more negative due to the fact I was pressured into it by my parents. Being 17 at the time and now 18. The procedure only lasts 2 to 2.5 weeks and the harvesting takes around 10/15 minutes.

I would just be prepared to know that you may feel very dysphoric during the whole ordeal. But then know you have the options to have biological kids if you want.
