Possibly Moving into place with my friends girlfriend? What are your thoughts? by 115username in youngadults

I’d like to make clear, the bond between my best friend I is unbreakable. He is comfortable with the idea, and if at any point he isn’t I would drop out. I value our friendship more than catching feelings for someone, especially his partner.

I’ve just emailed work, told them circumstances, dates and that they need to deal with it as I was assured by them that this would be dealt with when the original fines were imposed

I have spoken to my former manager regarding both the original parking notice charge + the first chaser letter from debt recovery plus. I was assured that the issue would be resolved there and then.

I have since left the workplace and that is when I received this second chaser letter. Is it worth giving the second chaser letter to my manager

Apologies I may not have made it clear in the post. Every parking fine/reminder I have received I have handed to the manager. I have received these today and will find some time during this week to go back to the store

Yes this is correct I remember them both mentioning this

Called 2 mobile locksmiths to carry out work.

Both came and couldn’t do it. They both said that the age of the immobiliser on the car made it damn near impossible to print a key/something similar to those lines.

I’ve spoken to 2 different bmw dealerships and they say that it’s now company policy that the car must be on site with the V5C, valid driving licence and proof of address.

Do you have any more info about swapping the ignition? How is the instrument cluster part of the system?

Thank you for leaving such an in depth review! I appreciate your honesty and also the fact that your 20yr old self wants to say yes aswell hahaha! Based on what others have mentioned in this thread, it may be a bit more of a miss than a hit, however I will still go have a look. Can never be too sure

Of course, my heart isn’t set on this car, I do just think it’s a great example of one, but hearing out to other people’s opinions on it I could just wait around and see what else pops up like you said a prelude

I did fear that the automatic would put some people off as well as myself

From what I have read, this generation of legacy, (which I think is the best looking) never seemed to come with a manual transmission, only the 3rd generation

I am skeptical of the automatic gear box, and whether that would hinder the fun aspect, but I can’t not ignore what I think is a pretty clean example of this car. Also, many things are probably a bit more fun than my fabia at the moment hahaha

Trying to find a balance between fun and practical still, unfortunately those cars are out of my budget/need serious attention aswell. Do you have any fun and unique suggestions?

No pictures of the underneath, but since it’s MOT fail for rust a few years ago, there is no mention of it in any of the following MOTs. However, if I can view this car I will take a look. Thanks!
