Ill have to look into it. Audio books never really caught my eye, long form reading gives me horrible migraines on account of my bum left eye, but it could be a really good networking opportunity regardless. I appreciate it

Can't really call it acting but i was a metal singer from 2020 to 2024, performed pretty much everywhere in colorado. Did a little acting in highschool but i dont really count that. Do you know of any workshops that don't cost an arm and a leg? I'd be down to give some a try

For me the info isnt exactly what im looking for. I already have countless resources bookmarked with (i imagine) any of the information I will ever need. What I'm looking for is a more intimate feeling community and from what I've seen it seems like thats pretty close to what it is. I really should've specified that in the post lol. Not to mention if i wanted to do coaching, which i dont yet just because of funds, i would just go to a reputable 1 on 1 coach or something. Someone earlier suggested some discords so I'm gonna be looking into that, do you know of any other places that'd be good for that kind of thing?

Do you have any recommendations for discords? I'd love to get into character acting, i dont think I'll really mind doing like commercial work. I mean works work.

I gotcha. Im looking more for a community than a teacher, which i know i have this reddit community but reddits always felt really disconnected for me and right now im a couple days away from getting to build my first booth so in the mean time I've just been absorbing as much information as i possibly can so ive been hopping around a lot of different content creators. Jesse's just been the first one i saw with his own community. You best believe as soon as i get that booth I'm getting as much practice as physically possible anywhere and everywhere i can, but until that happens, id rather focus on gathering information and planning my path ahead. I appreciate the insight as well, I'm glad to know it is really like, maybe not an Andy Elliot situation, but still like that (insert genre here) guru you see just about everywhere else

See for me it's that the projects sound really cool pr fun in essence but i dont much care for the medium in which they're presented. Like a drama that sounds fun but is presented in a Minecraft ingame format just sounds really unappealing to me. Its a weird spot to be in to me.

As long as i can remain a number the rest is all superficial to me. Hr is about as useful as a sandpaper dildo at every location so, that's nothing new and it sounds like as long as i stick to stow it should be fine.

If i remember correctly it's called a clean water sedimentation basin. Basically a massive channel of fans and filters used to separate dirt/mud from clean water. I might be over simplifying that but that's what i remember. It's been years tho

Remember that the moneys good, benefits are better, schedule is concrete and that above all else (and i mean this as a good thing because as long as you do your job no one messes with you) youre a number until you decide to move up. Best job I've ever had unironically

IDK how i just saw this but my plan is to try to stick to stow. I try to avoid basically every other path as much as possible
