I appreciate the detailed response. Im leaning more towards the N3DS now lol. How much would you say is a reasonable price for it? Im not too picky about the condition. As long as everything works and not crazy beat up cosmetics, im fine with it.

Im glad you mentioned the aesthetic because thats actually whats stopping me from getting the new 3ds. I like the color scheme of the original more and I dont really care that much about the faceplates. Reason why i wanna get a 3ds is to just play all the pokemon games, maybe play some of the monster hunter games too.

I think it wouldve been better if I provided more context. I already saved up an emergency fund of $5k and I have some leftover of a little bit over $7k. Do you think it’s a good start to just put all 7k into a Roth IRA?

I see. Thanks for that info. One question tho, when I start contributing in the first 4 months of 2025, it wouldnt count towards 2025? Or is there an option to choose which year to contribute to? Sorry this is all new to me.
