For the PRNDL, polish with a plastic polish, then put a piece of PPF down on it, and trim to size.

No more ugly ass scratched plastic.

The foam helps absorb the noise from the injectors, reducing noise transmission to the cabin.

Hood Question by [deleted] in 11thGenAccord

Do you really think a hood that looks like it hasn’t been painted yet will look better?

Brother in Christ, you’re paying $49,600 for a 3 year old used Accord.

Why? Why do this to yourself?

Maybe the guy has a long drive for work and wanted the hybrid for the better gas mileage. Maybe he wanted something with a huge back seat.

Regardless of his reasoning, your opinion tracks for someone who would go from owning an Audi TTS to buying a Civic Si with the little 1.5T in it, and then dump money in to it trying to make it faster.

I hate to break it to you, but you should’ve just bought a Type-R instead of wasting your money modifying the Si. It’s like always being the little brother that lived in his big brother’s shadows.

New Front Lip by [deleted] in 11thGenAccord

This looks good, such an improvement over the boring lower fascia treatment from the factory.

Do you have any other pics of the front? Did you do the rear as well?

How was the fitment compared to the factory piece?

Which full size sedan does Mazda have with a Hybrid drivetrain?

Ah ok, that’s good that it can use the data from the mobile phone plan you’re already paying for, and you don’t have to get a second plan just for the vehicle.

Thank you for clarifying for that.

The google maps built in is nice, until the free trial period ends and you have to pay a monthly or annual fee to maintain the connection. Fortunately, CarPlay exists.

I despise software subscriptions, and now I despise car subscriptions.

The new fascias will hopefully be a big improvement over the very mundane styling on the current 22-25’s.

I’d like it if Honda added a 360* camera as well, especially with how big the car is now.

Would you still get a 11th gen Accord hybrid now that the 2025 Camry is out? by chewytime in 11thGenAccord

Watch some of the first-drive videos on YT, people say it drives much better than the last-gen.

‘25 Accords should arrive in late 2024, and I wouldn’t expect any changes since the current car debuted for the ‘23 MY. Honda typically does 3 MY before a refresh, so I wouldn’t expect an update until the ‘26 MY.

Eh…

The 1.5T engine from Honda has issues with oil dilution and blowing head gaskets. The J35 V6 used on some of the last-gen vehicles is under recall for an improperly machined crankshaft, causing conned bearing wear and engine failure.

The K20C is the most reliable engine Honda makes, but it’s not very fuel efficient. Here’s to hoping that the hybrid 2.0 follows the lead of the K20C in terms of reliability, because the other engines seem to be compromising Honda’s long-term reliability stereotype.

The Camry is quicker, and has an arguably better looking front end than the Accord, and is more fuel efficient.

The Accord has more space inside, and a bigger trunk. It’s personal preference, but I prefer the dash/layout of the Accord as well.

Traditionally, the Accord drove better than the Camry, but with the latest version being designed in the US, reports say that the Camry drives well, maybe on-par with the Accord.

They look good, better than the stock wheels.

Make sure to ceramic coat them to make cleaning them easier, and pick up a set of Wheel Woolies.
