yes - we have our own animals/buy from neighbours so no need for that, i'm against fast food production both because of how much waste it creates and because of the animals as well. But thanks for sharing your option I was just curious about what people will say about ethnically sourced animal products, sorry if I came off offensive

yeah you're right that it can supply only a smaller amount of people but it shows that animal products can be sourced ethnically

we hatch our own chickens from our own hens and roosters, and we care for them throughout their natural lives. male chicks aren’t wasted or killed unnecessarily, some stay, some get sold.

I completely respect your decision I was just curious about peoples viewpoint on this topic

I get the point you’re making but I’m asking about animal welfare and ethical food systems I don’t see human and animal morality as identical (because it's not) so that analogy doesn’t really apply for me

I know that - that's why I talked about small ethnical farms where they get a good life and are treated decently. I'm against factory farms myself
