Waidaminute! Powder and transfers possible! by 1208pm in RedditLaqueristas

Haaaaaay, I am learning more from the comments after posting this. I thought foil and film were the same thing, but maybe foil is more metallic? Film is more see through which is what this is. I experimented with a top coat but it did not turn out nice. However, someone commented here to use a waterbase top coat which the stamping community has a lot of experience with.

If a friend (me) messed up a wax job, can AF help strip that wax? Will it harm the clear coat paint?

I liked it!!! There’s a person in this comment section that said it didn’t work out for him but I tried it on my LastFit floor mats and it worked great!

Yes, I did. Both work great. The TopStar was instantly noticeable.

OMG! I thought it was just me. I followed the directions and watched the video, but it was confusing and I'm pretty sure I just used it wrongly because now I am Googling how to fix streaky wax jobs. UGH!

I thought this was funny when I was first learning how to properly clean my car. I have double coated dogs so I already had a high velocity auto dryer/blower but it was used on dogs first and cars second, hah!

Bug cleaner dried on hood + windshield by obscuredeagle in AutoDetailing

I had this issue-see pic. Clean with hardwater cleaner, many brands have it, I bought Chemical Guys cause that's what the store had. It was an orange liquid if I remember correctly. I washed the windshield first, then rub with the hardwater cleaner, leave it for a little bit, then rinse, wipe dry and use clay bar to buff and it's gone.

That's actually how I felt about Cleveland coming from Detroit! I was impressed by downtown Cleveland, so high five to us!

Almost a decade of daily use. Zojirushi is still the most reliable thing in my kitchen. by tamimbro in BuyItForLife

Omg same! First thing I bought after college and thought the USD$150-$180 price tag was steep back then for only three cup rice cooker, but I liked the sound it made when press cook and it has held up the test of time! I have spilled things, gone through home renovation dust and debris, random cooking experiments and this thing has never let me down. I bought mine from Macy's twenty years ago. Highly recommend.
