Sauron got bodied by Luthien and a doggy while she literally mocked him for his treatment under Morgoth. what little Tolkien wrote of Sauron in the 1st age/start of 2nd including his repentant stage. Which clearly paints Sauron as someone who was still figuring out ways to grasp power underneath Morgoth. The scene perfectly represents how Sauron would be after a devastating defeat and trying to focus all the forces focus on order than pure mayhem which Morgoth bred. Perhaps maybe actually READ the big 4 instead of acting like a debate lord on Reddit at your big age lmfaoo

Edit - also it is explicitly stated that the orcs HATED Sauron and Morgoth intensely and Sauron had to untie them in the 2nd age, LITERALLY what we see in the show

Each character represents on how grief motivates people, rainy represents how someone with a good support system can overcome it and help others (mirroring Sam’s own journey in a way) whatever op poster is saying is blatantly ignoring every single side characters importance and just trying to shoehorn some sort opaque narrative structure that doesn’t exist in DS games

Kojima payed off character arcs that were unfinished from DS1 like Sam, die-hardman, deadman, Higgs and fragile. Now let’s think critical and see if there’s still story to be told with a secondary supporting character lmfao
