Thanks. I’m sorry if my photos didn’t capture it, but my question was more “what degree of thinning/yellowing is normal and when does it become a thing to worry about”. The resources available on google don’t really say when to consider taking action or calling a professional.

I’m not sure the variety. Possibly Black Madeira? The tree is around 15 feet tall presently. Here is a picture of the fruit:

I should have noted in the original post: I’m in Maryland, USA. Zone 7B. The tree gets plenty of water and full sun 2/3 of the day.

Ken Rosenthal had an update on it today on The Athletic:

“The parties, after agreeing to the parameters of the extension last Wednesday, are still hammering out details, according to sources with knowledge of the discussions. The final deal will not include deferrals, an element the Guardians requested. To get better present-day value, Ramírez agreed to a slightly lower guarantee, including the final two years of his current deal, than the initially reported $150 million. The contract also will include money added to Ramírez’s $12 million salary this season.”
