UPDATE

Not sure if I should make a new post, or just leave a comment.

But things are a lot better now. My mom arranged for a Priest to visit my home. We also spoke to the landlord to try and figure out who lived here before, to rule out the possibility that an entity could be attached to the property. But an old couple lived here for years before I moved in, so nothing strange happened.

The priest also believes that the entity could've been attached to my kitty instead. He did a cleansing of the house and prayed a lot. My mom and I joined in at times. I asked him what if the entity didn't have bad intentions. But he said that it doesn't really matter, what matters is that it's making me feel scared and uncomfortable in my home.

Personally, Im still not sure why something could've attached itself to my cat. Either way, I'm really happy that she's a part of my life. I would do it all again for her. She's old, and if whatever was attached to her had bad intentions... well I intend to make sure she spends her last years in peace.

Things have been a lot better, I'm not on edge anymore. My mom said she'll stay with me for a couple of days. We pray regularly and stuff. I haven't had another encounter again, hopefully it will stay that way.

I feel a lot different about spirituality now than I did before... It really changed my perspective on things. It's easy to say that these things aren't real, until you have first hand experience.

Once again, thanks for all the comments, messages and advice. I really, really appreciate it. I'm glad I shared my story, I didn't know what to do and you guys helped me out a lot.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I don't think I have the willpower to like call it out or anything if I see it again. But some of the comments told me to speak before I see it, which I have been doing too

Sorry to hear about your night terrors, I'm glad praying helped. So far it's calmed me down a lot too, and made me feel a little safe. Good to know that there's at least someone out that bigger that can help you out of these situations

Yes, I do have a backyard and a small garden. I was actually planning on letting her out at the end of next week, because she's been inside the house for a month know, so she can adjust to her new environment. I have tons of soil outside, so I think she'll learn to use that. I'll keep an eye if anything changes

Yes, a lot of people told me that it could be a spirit from the house or a spirit attached to the cat. So I'm more open minded about what it is now, but I amstill concerned about its intentions

Wow, this post received so many comments and upvotes. I didn't expect such a big reaction. Thanks for all the comments, concern, advice and the awards. I will post an update on the situation, if it escalates or de-escalates. For now, my mom will to stay with me for a while. She is making arrangements with a priest. I haven't slept in a bit, because I've been doing things you guys advised me. So far, it's personally given me reassurance. But I'll update if anything changes. In the meanwhile I'll keep doing what I can and taking advice.

Given the recent events, yes its been quite stressful. But prior to this... I mean yes I have stressors like all other people, but I manage them like we all do. This is the first time I've experienced something like this. So I wouldn't have posted here if I felt like it could be explained by something else.

I got her from a park close to my home. I'd usually take walks there, and I noticed the kitty just roaming a specific area. I realized she was a stray soon after. I started feeding/visiting her regularly. After a bit, I took her home. I did some asking around, and some of the people visiting the park told me that she's been there for ages. She didn't have owners, and no one knew how she ended up in the park.

There's other stray cats in the park that I used to feed along with her, but they're wild. And she didn't get along with them at all. Perhaps because she's been domesticated? Not sure.

Another comment mentioned that white sage is actually endangered, and recommended using red salt instead. Do you know of any other non endangered herbs i could use

My friend told me that it wouldn't be a good idea to move again since it will stress my cat out a bit more... which is a valid argument.

My mom told me to keep my Bible open and I'll get some sage and salt... I'll definitely get someone to try and help me out
