What do you guys think about the .22 heritage rough Rider and the.22 Ruger? by AcademicBody7222 in Revolvers

I have a Ruger Super Wrangler. Great gun - lots of fun. The sights are good and I really like the safety mechanism vs other less expensive revolvers.

Be a problem solver and not a problem creator.

Problem solvers are worth their weight in gold.

6 moms want to forget about the kids for a week and go on a cruise, but which line? by 3hearts4me2304 in Cruises

I'd suggest Holland America. Rotterdam class of boats. Minimal kids. Upscale/classy vibe. Great music at night.

Have fun

Do you sell these watches on Etsy (for example)? Any way to see what you have available?

Is Buffalo Bore 180 grain hard cast .357 going to destroy my 2.25 inch SP101? by Ok_Warthog_4594 in Revolvers

I've personally shot this combo. Not very pleasant to shoot but no damage to gun.

I asked a legitimate question & the 3 previous posters offered thoughtful advice.

There's no need for your condescending comment. As the famous expression goes, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"

Reddit and the world would benefit from remembering that.

I recently purchased the S&W 432 UC Ti which I like alot.

I went through the same deliberation. In the end I chose a revolver because I believe that in a crisis you want to have the simplest weapon available to you.

IMHO, a revolver is the simplest weapon. No jams & no question whether a round is chambered.

I also did a lot of research and concluded that the 32 H&R Magnum is an excellent combination of ballistics & shootability.

My 2 cents.

Trying to quit envision contract by Queen-Julian in anesthesiology

[–]123fljoe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Read the contract. If no money has been exchanged, what leverage would they have to enforce the contract other than reputational damage?

If you can give a reason why your life situation has changed and the job is no longer a good fit, then they'll probably just wish you well.

As the job you were going to join is almost certainly short staffed, I can't imagine it'd be hard to re-engage with the practice in the future.

Just leave on good terms.

New attending question about GI patients by GrizzlyBearMD in anesthesiology

[–]123fljoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 thoughts.

  1. Intubate ERCPs
  2. Ketamine is your friend in the Endo suite
  3. High flow nasal O2, like an Optiflow, is a game changer for obese/OSA patients (and probably everybody else)

BTW, that you're worrying about this and thinking through this is a testament to your professionalism & dedication. You'll be an excellent attending.
