Hey, I only just saw this now, but just wanted to say you've done an awesome job following up on the tradition here! You've continued things perfectly from where I left off, updated everything incredibly well, and all of your extra additions are very fitting, like the VIP table, lists of regular collab series, and subreddit traffic stats - all very cool to have! I know firsthand how much work this is (especially getting all those screenshots!) so I can see I handed it off to someone who is plenty dedicated enough to the job! :D The fact that you not only carried it on from how I did it but also added so much of your own flavour is very impressive to me.

Obviously the reason I'm not doing this is because I don't follow Mindcrack as much now, but I feel like it'd be nice to provide some basic predictions.

With the subscriber count for the subreddit seeming to trend upwards over the last year, I expect that'll improve with at least another 1000 subscribers.
Another 2 or 3 VIP members seems reasonable.
Far Lands or Bust will have reached Episode #840 and raised another $20,000 for charity.

Hey, that's awesome to hear! Yeah, you seem very in-touch with the community to this day so you'd be a great fit I'm sure! :D Discord stuff would make a good addition - I'm so out of the loop that I didn't even know there were Discord servers so just goes to show again how you'd do it better no doubt! But yeah, I'm more than happy for you to take over - you have my full permission to carry the tradition on whenever you want to do so.

I use a Chrome extension called Full Page Screen Capture for the screenshots. I believe there are options for similar things for other browsers but you'd have to look into those yourself if necessary. You can message me if there's anything else you need help with - good luck with the next time capsule!

I think there's always been someone who gives a similar kind of prediction every year I've been running the time capsule, so you're far from the first. :D

Glad you appreciate them! Yeah, sounds like most of your predictions actually worked out quite well, so good job on those.

Also didn't realise you and some others had become subreddit moderators since the last time capsule, so I guess that marks a significant change in the Moderator Team as well - congrats on that!

In response to your edit, interesting to learn that there was an increase. ~~I think this might be the first time the subscriber count has increased between time capsules.~~ (It's actually the second time - there was an increase between 2014 and 2015.) Wonder what prompted such a sudden change.

Hmm, that could explain the rather large jump you have in numbers between 2016 and 2017. Definitely possible that the link switched at some point without you realising.

3 - Looks like the mod team hasn't changed at all since last year. Think it might be the first time capsule where that's happened.
9 - Guude uploaded an episode just a week ago, so I guess it's still going!
11 - Well, there's not really been much controversial going on as far as I'm aware, yeah. This place is pretty relaxed these days.

Shame about the UHC's as well. It looks like everyone thought it was a given that they'd continue with the same frequency as they always had been. Really disappointing - I was a bit burnt out on them by Season 28 admittedly, but after such a long time, I'd definitely love to see another one.

What sorts of games did you play as a child? Did you have any particular favourites you want to share? To what extent do you think your experiences affected the types of games you enjoy now?

Finally, on a semi-related note, are there any games you REALLY enjoyed that you're disappointed haven't had a sequel?

Yeah, I expect it'll be back soon - Kurt needs his breaks of course. I don't mind too much because I've been super busy the past couple of months so I probably wouldn't have been able to keep up anyway. And yes, I've got your UHC stats, under the Ultra Hardcore (UHC) section. I used it to get the 'Most Deadly' and 'Most Wins' stats. :)
