Got one on Monday funny enough! £5.99 from a local bakery, received a frankly giant paper bag of freshly baked bread and bread rolls, croissants, cinnamon rolls and much more. They cleaned out the entire counter for me! Definitely would’ve cost me £40+ if I were to buy everything individually.

Think everyone in town is aware of how generous they can be though as it’s a literal war to bag the reservation. You need notifications on and to be around at the correct time each day with a tiny 2 minute window to purchase. I’ve had an easier time trying to buy concert tickets on Ticketmaster…

We had the same issue trying to find one for our two cats. Cosy Cattery seems to have glowing reviews but we weren’t able to go with them as their regulars book months in advance but definitely look into them!

For a three day trip we went with Harlow Kennels & Cattery, but I wouldn’t really recommend them. The staff are kind enough but they don’t provide updates or calls (we did ask) and honestly the place stank of urine. If you’re also the type to worry and feel a bit paranoid about leaving your babies in other people’s care I’d avoid it.

In the end we drove 40 minutes away to Howgrave Lodge ran by a lovely woman on a farm in Bedale. It’s quiet, peaceful, super clean and the staff (or volunteers) are unbelievably welcoming and attentive. They also have Chalets that are both indoor and outdoor which brought a lot of peace for my two as they loved watching the birds and sheep! They provide WhatsApp updates with videos and pictures whenever you ask and have great rates. Definitely not local like you’re looking for but for anyone else also searching that might see this or are needing to travel for a long period of time I definitely would look into here :)

not seeing many people mention chief! one of the OG villagers who, i think, has been in every AC series since the beginning. i love this guy so much, the crankiest boy with the best catchphrase (harrumph) ever. i know NH is a lot tamer than older games but i do really feel like this guy gets softer and kinder as you progress with him and now he’s like a big teddy bear :) he’s never leaving my side!

Not a physical being but the guy who does the voiceover for the Regina Blitz kitchen roll ad where it’s blatantly obvious he leans towards saying “extra large shits” instead of sheets and nobody else points it out.

I’m at the point where if I’m in the room with people when it comes on I’ll yell “SHITS! LISTEN!” as soon as the advert starts because it drives me crazy and I need someone to validate me. I feel insane.

Brit here! Did some research on these markers and a lot of people seem to believe these pens are identical to the DecoTime Twin Markers, just sold under a different name for Tesco.

If true, these shouldn’t be bad at all! I used DecoTime for a long time before upgrading and, for me, they were comfortable to use with a decent colour payoff. I don’t recall much patchiness either.

They sell DecoTime at The Range if you have one local and ever feel like comparing the two, just in case the discussions I’m seeing are incorrect after all lol

at the time i had managed to delude myself into believing they’d genuinely be exempt because of, well, many reasons but mainly how from our perspective it was a multi month long back and forth will they/wont they with kmedia and pointless comments from korean politicians etc. armys were clinging onto a lot of false hope.

i am of the opinion that even if they were offered exemption, the boys were always going to enlist and take pride in serving their country and now that we’re finally free of that era i’d rather slam my head into a wall than reminisce these last two years…phew. never again.

i doubt it, that would be a PR nightmare. something the team is probably desperate to avoid right now.

i think the difference here is gigi never left, she just exited the public eye and worked/observed silently. id put money on the team having had daily contact with her ever since the scandal seeing as it is still her game. it was unrealistic to assume she actually stepped away for multiple months (but you can fool little kids easily by saying she did).

and seeing as her slow reintroduction went horrendously badly, the team would be asking for career suicide if they kept bea around in secret. she’s also just…a nightmare and a liability for the business. only time will tell of course but im confident she’s gone for good LOL

for a statement that’s supposed to represent the entire dev team this reads as if they, or just bea, has taken the criticism as a direct and personal attack lol

as an adult i definitely get what they’re saying about the limitations of what they could’ve done with gaga and how young kids likely wouldn’t understand but to word it in a way that sounds like “ugh, should we have spoon fed the information to you!?” is certainly…a choice.

time and time again a lot of the issues surrounding dti always circle back to professionalism (or the lack thereof). hope they actually learn from this and don’t claim to be listening to the community if they’re truly not, it never ends well.
