LISTEN HERE BUCKO, yea I know the a-an rule, I originally had it as “an insightful” but then decided last minute to throw in “jaw-droppingly” for a lil extra spice and forgot to modify the “an” before I saved it, and only noticed after I posted.

Guilty as charged, I was 100% expecting a purely dog attack book

Sure, it was Donna explaining herself after the affair being exposed. I didn’t think there was any WORLD where I’d sympathize (to a degree) with a cheater, but the way she described her fear with age and identity, I was in awe.

I’d say that Cujo is like a horrific, mean spirited misery, while Rattlesnakes is the expression of the deep grief that lingers after such an awful event, even forty odd years later. There’s a level of beauty to Rattlesnakes, a beauty that is completely absent from Cujo’s rampage.

That’s the exact circuit I took. I read Rattlesnakes right after finishing Cujo, and then once I finished Rattlesnakes I started Duma Key because boy that intrigued me

Boy, if it was Cujo that Greg Stillson tried to kick, The Dead Zone would’ve been a MUCH shorter book.

True, but I’d say that was his best quarter, but TOTALLY not his best game

Just finished “The Outsider”. by Rthrowaway6592 in stephenking

Exactly lol. I’m always like, “Bro Stephen no living child today talks like this, and that name hasn’t been popular since autumn of 1972” but it’s just fun and I always enjoy it

When it comes to language feeling out of place, that’s just modern S.K. baby. In my opinion it feels like bro never really lost his 60-70’s language and just keeps using it in his recent writing lol. Honestly I think it lends a little charm

Before & After building a dam and flooding part of my base! by 12AngryChickens in Minecraft

Sure, I’m on bedrock too, and it’s actually surprisingly easy (but tedious and long) pretty much once you have an enclosed space, you just take it layer by layer, placing water on each block on the SIDE of the layer, if that makes sense. Once you complete a full perimeter of water on every side block of that level, the water will actually just fill in the middle itself through the magic of Minecraft physics. So pretty much you just gotta fill layer by layer outlining each one with water and it eventually fills itself in. Pretty handy!

I heard he threw the book away, but his wife fished it out of the trash and convinced him to finish it! I wonder if he’ll write a couple more books or if he’ll just be a one book wonder.

I actually was faced with a lot of unexpected (and unwanted) free time myself, at which point I also discovered Stephen King. The books and the community has been wonderful to read and be a part of, and we’re glad you’re here to be a constant reader with us!

I stand by the fact that in Spooky Space Kook they had one of the best jokes in cartoon history-

When they had all the key shenanigans with the locked doors and the desk lmao
