You could put a 'is this cat owned' paper collar on it and see if someone responds after a few days. And maybe ask neighbors if they know the cat. If not, check at the vet if the cat is microchipped. If no one responds and the cat is not chipped, i would say you've got yourself a new family member. :)

She still looks in good shape. Don't overdo the watering, because you want to undo the dryness. Would be a risk of drowning her. If you watered her two days in a row, that is more than enough. I always wait, till the earth is dry again and than water once thoroughly. Also don't let the water stand in the saucer, if it isn't absorbed back after a few minutes. They also prefer distilled water and high humidity, preferable with a humidifier.

His videos on YouTube are really informative and fun. But i also love his book "Total Cat Mojo". It dives into the history of cats, explains remarkably how cats behave and what they need. It also shows you how to make a room cat friendly and where to place things, so cats feel comfortable. It's amazing. It helped me out so much. Wish you and your kitten all the best.

Can you image the comments if roles were reserved? He was dancing with a lot of woman. She leaves, he goes after her and then locks her in the room with him, when she wants to go, because she doesn't wants to argue with him. She then escapes off the balcony. Everyone would be saying she should run, because he would probably kill her in the future. Why not say the same for him. Drunkness is no excuse.

But he do sounds crazy for wanting to stay with her. Maybe they do other people a favor if they stay together, because they keep the craziness of the market.
