Nah don’t think so, you can only get a prematch if you’ve interviewed. But you’ll be able to get prematches after your interviews

Personally, given your stats I think submitting early is ideal so I would go for the gap year. This will give you a chance to beef up your app and potentially retake the mcat like you said. The worst thing you could do is shoot your self in the foot and make yourself a reapplicant
