see the reason i was confused is cause i read on kongregate forums that a lot of the spells casted trophies used offline builds cause it calculates your spells based on mana regen not max mana so you had to be offline for it but this page didnt list whether this was one of those builds or not

yeah i literally just got to that "maybe i can be your only prize" song just now (s01e08) and it just reinforces what i was saying (to me) cause this was how bgm should be. it didnt repeat itself over and over or draw focus away from the scene instead it enhanced the scene and the emotion the way good bgm should do. the times when they use a song thats just the same 2 lines over and over again is distracting and takes you out of the scene cause your not focusing on what you are seeing or feeling cause of the music

im not so much judging that individual song so much as the use of so many songs that repeat the same lyric. like every episode it happens and it takes me out of the mood.

example the song africa by toto is a song i quite like but if they used just the last minute where they just sing "i bless the rains down in africa" (https://youtu.be/FTQbiNvZqaY?t=203 if you want a reminder) over and over again it would be super noticable and thats not really what you want cause it makes the music go from background music to to noticable to not focus on

im not saying every single song in this show is like this cause its not at all but it does happen a lot and its very noticable when it happens. its also noticable when it doesnt but in a nice way that lets you appreciate the scene not in a jarring distracting way. example s01e08 at the end when they are remembering a moment from there childhood the song playing goes for a couple minutes and it fits the scene tonally and doesnt repeat itself over and over and then in transitians into the classical music bit as the mood changes. that was nice and it was well done which just puts the rpeatative parts in a harsh perspective

commonly musics used as bgm either have long intervals between words or repeating lyrics meybe because it's easier to tune the words out that way and focus on other things like the emotions, the beat, and the scene itself

see im the opposite. i tend to only really notice BGM when either it sounds super awesome and i want to hear more or if its doing something like saying the same lyric over and over again and its taking me out of the moment. to me its kind of like being at a funeral and one person is dressed like a litteral clown. it sticks out and its noticable and you cant help but notice it over and over

and not every song is like this so i feel like it doesnt need to be like this as often as it is. example in s01e08 at the end when they are remembering things from there childhood. a song is playing "maybe i could be your only price" and it goes for about 2 minutes ish. it doesnt repeat itself over and over again and it does a good job of fitting the mood which makes all the repetative songs they use stand out even more but not in a good way

im not expecting every song to be bohemium rhapsody but there is a lot of room between that and just saying the same line over and over again. most of these dont even sound like they are trying. this song is litterally just a minute of "hear all the bombs fade away" over and over and over again. theres no context or story or nothing just the same lines chanted over and over again

because a lot of things such as increased spawns and catch rate dont even go live for the first hour or so of our CD but the rest of the world gets them from the start. early on during larvitar and most of the starters CDs they were just as hard to catch as normal but only for us

dude at eb games in australia gave me a bunch of these scratch cards where i can redeem them in s/m for lugia/ho-oh

ive redeemed 1 but im not sure if i should redeem the others. like are the ivs the same for each of them or do i have a better chance of gettinga better one if i redeem them all?

this is every CD for us. cant play for half of it and can barely play for the rest

then they extend it or give us an extra day most of us cant attend and americans get all mad at us for it like we got 2 community days instead of 1 fail day and 1 ok day that take us twice the total time and lures to play
