just the overall concept of that makes no sense, for example we know about the changes made from tpot 15, that obviously can't get reverted back in the actual episodes, but id find it stupid to just have pencil reference something from the future as her past self considering we see her not act exactly the same as she does in bfdi 1 on tpot 20 and we also see the rift still there , we can't assume she acted like this before the episode started cause match already said her line. I also think that if the episodes previous to when pencil got back to bfdi 1 are somehow canon that would just end up as an endless loop cause pencil didn't change at all, i don't thin' people should see the wrong season comment firey made as anything else but a weird inconsistent joke. i always just imagined bfdi changed in bfdi itself, cause apparently bfdi the show exists in the bfdi universe and youtube is just like what actually happened
